We had a fantastic time at Great Lakes Farm because "Pick-your-own" peaches makes a great bonding with my daughter. Peaches are categorized by their relationship with the pit and flesh. All are considered to be Freestone or semi-freestone, meaning that once ripened, when you cut in half, the pit will typically fall freely from the fruit. Makes all varieties great for eating fresh, canning, baking, making jam, freezing and more! Great Lakes Farm has lots to discover, explore and experience picking fresh produce right from the farm. In fall season, apples and pumpkin, take centre stage! Start your visit with a wagon ride around the farm or a trip through corn maze!
