Juicy Fruits is a bit of a hidden gem that features a quite unique mechanics (the slidey slide puzzle) and is very aesthetically pleasing. It's very streamlined, quick and easy to learn, and most importantly quite fun. The light engine building combined with the spatial configurations makes for a great puzzle-ish game. Also, the game is completely language independent. I really love games that feature never seen before mechanics before that isn't a gimmickfest like Canvas. If you like games like Splendor, Century (first installment) or Gizmos, you'll most likely like this one too. That being said, it suffers from the usual euro game weakness; lack of player interaction. I think the game added the juice factory module to help this, but the module itself is really underwhelming. A few plays I had, everyone always, and I mean 100% of the time, ignores the juice factory. They would rather spend their resources in the market / ice cream / boats. Also the random setup seems like a bad idea. It makes setup a bit less tedious sure, but I really don't think potentially giving one player, who has the first player advantage, the only access to the massive ice cream points is very fair. Why not give a bit more structure to it? Overall a solid game if you don't mind it being a bit short and lacking player interaction.
