In this video dating back to July 2013, we trekked up to Fan Brycheiniog in the Brecon Beacons from the Tafarn y Garreg pup in order to try for a FM CB Radio net that was due to tun in the North West of England. A transient 'expert' on one of the forums/groups (I can't remember which) said I stood no chance of making the net, so I tried my hardest to do just that! It was a very hot weekend with lots of military activity going on and sadly several SAS recruits perished in the area the day before we visited (we were unaware of this at the time or we would have likely cancelled the trip). https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-3...
