Quake III Arena is the third game in the Quake series and differs from previous games by excluding a traditional single-player element, instead focusing on multiplayer action. The single-player mode is played against computer controlled bots. It didn't. It escaped my memory just how much a cheating douche the Nightmare AI is. The Quake AI uses aimbot across all difficulties, but the Nightmare one also has ridiculous reaction times and, well, they barely ever miss. I still wanted to demonstrate it, as well as the huge gap between that and Hardcore, and so the entirety of Tier 1 is done on Nightmare, with the rest of the game being done on Hardcore. As such I believe it apparent how much of a difference there is between the two difficulties, EXCEPT for the boss duels. The tough ones are horse**** on both, while the joke ones are hilariously easy on both as well. Probably.
