How to defend yourself if you're on the ground being kicked. This is not a great position to be in whether you're a BJJ Black Belt or Not! Most of the time the reason we're here is because we've tripped, fallen, or been sucker punched but still have consciousness! So here we go! We are operating under a few assumptions here as usual: 1) We are backed into a wall or obstacle - no exit available. 2) For whatever reason we are grounded. 3) Versus 1 or Multiple attackers the defense is the same. Protect your head, create space, get up to a better position. Self defense and Krav Maga are meant to help you solve your immediate threat the rest is a fight. We highly recommend avoiding all these dangerous self protection situations at all costs as these are purely meant as a last resort once all other options are exhausted.
