VILLICANA D'ANNIBALE GALLERIA D'ARTE The Villicana D'Annibale Galleria D'Arte is a unique source for modern and contemporary art in Tuscany. The gallery's program focuses on figurative to abstract fine art and photography. The gallery features Danielle Villicana D'Annibale's artwork as well as excellent local and international artists, displaying emerging artistic expression to mature and internationally acclaimed artists. The gallery is proud to represent the following permanent artists: Daniele Alfani, Bryan Barasch, Enrico Borgogni, Giustino Caposciutti, Danielle Villicana D'Annibale, Pasquale Nero Galante, Sivestro Pistolesi, Luigi Falai, Susan Leyland, Giancarlo Montuschi and Christopher Slatoff. We also represent Vladimiro Andidero, DALO, Silvano Fabbroni, Giacobbe Giusti, Alessandro Marrone, Pasquale Marzelli, Maurizio Pichi, Re Bello, Sandro Ricci, Maria Alejandra Sandoval. Upcoming exhibits in 2013 will include Silvestro Pistolesi, Rino Giannini, Enrico Borgogni, Paolo Caponi, Riccardo Terziani, Claudio Orlandi, Giacobbe Giusti, Pasquale Nero Galante, Marco Cipolli, Valerio de Filippis, Alessandro Marrone, Maurizio Pichi and Danielle Villicana D'Annibale. The gallery has become an oasis for artists, art collectors and art lovers of all kinds since our opening December 11, 2010. Over 150 artists of all ages and nations have exhibited in our space in just over two and a half years. The local artists of Arezzo are descendants of Michelangelo, Piero della Francesco, and Georgio Vasari and are plentiful and extremely talented. Arezzo is home to many local poets and musicians, being the birthplace of Francesco Petrarca and Guido Monaco, thus on occassion we enjoy accompaning our exhibitions with concerts and poetry readings. We also enjoy inviting experts in contemporary art to interview, write about and present our artists. To date we have hosted: Daniela Meli - gallerist and art historian, Liletta Fornasari - art historian, Matilde Puleo - art critic, Michele Loffredo - art historian and art critic, Giordani Berti - writer and essayist, Igino Materazzi - expert in contemporary art, and Marco Botti - journalist. The best investment that you could ever make is a work of art. It will feed your soul and maybe it will become a Cezanne, Van Gogh, Marcel du Champ, Picasso, Damien Hirst or Maurizio Cattelan. Thus our services include three areas: GALLERY, WORKSHOPS & INTERNATIONAL ART CLUB. You are welcome to take part in the Villa Margherita International Art Club events which are organized in order to create opportunities for cultural and artistic growth and exchange, between Italy and the United States (as Danielle Villicana D'Annibale is of American origin) as well as all countries in this beautiful world, besides just to simply have some fun, meet some new people and eat great Italian food and drink fabulous Tuscan wine! They are free, held in the beautiful garden at Villa Margherita a Paradise for Artists in Tuscany and based on "everyone bring something and share pot luck style!" Most of the artists that frequent the gallery have frequented these get togethers and we have been having a great time!
