Vihiga County to host Miss Tourism beauty pageant

Vihiga County will be hosting this year’s miss tourism pageant. The county will be the third county to host the pageant since its inception. The beauty queens arrived in the county in style, their convoy making its way to town where residents stopped to welcome them. Contestants were welcomed with songs and dances but they were not left behind as they danced their way into the county headquarters. The county’s first lady Elizabeth Akaranga and local MCAs were at hand to receive and welcome the contestants. Miss tourism Kenya national coordinator Alice Kamunge expressed her gratitude for the county’s hospitality.
