Trent Barton's Keyworth service known as "The Keyworth" from Broadmarsh Bus Station to Keyworth Square, taking 30 minutes. The Keyworth is a circular bus route into Nottingham from Keyworth, Plumtree and Tollerton running every 15 minutes at both ends. Journey points: 0:46-3:29 (Broadmarsh Bus Station to Nottingham Railway Station) 3:31-17:29 (Nottingham Railway Station to Edwalton, Wheatcrofts) 17:31-20:13 (Edwalton, Wheatcrofts to Tollerton, Bentinck Avenue) 20:20-32:20 (Tollerton, Bentinck Avenue to Keyworth Square) Music used: Title: Carefree Music: Kevin MacLeod License: CC BY 3.0 (http://goo.gl/BlcHZR) Download: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-... Over the years, The Keyworth initially begun life as Keyworth Connection in the 90s, using four Plaxton Pointers in Trent Barton's traditional Barton Buses livery of strawberry red and cream. Later in February 2004, those Plaxton Pointers became cyan and yellow which served the route well for the next three years, where it was rumoured to become yellow using full-size single decker Wright Solars cascaded from Calverton Connection just as Calverton Connection was to be renamed to "Wow!" using new Optare Tempos. However, in 2007, the rumours were believed to be false because we got four plum Optare Tempos originally meant for "Wow" onto Keyworth Connection. They saw us through over a decade into June 2017, when Trent Barton announced a £100,000 investment in Wright Eclipse Urbans for Keyworth Connection, including a fifth bus to the fleet, a new name, updated colour scheme, and free Wi-Fi with USB sockets to keep you connected on your commute. Most recently, The Keyworth unfortunately suffered reliability and punctuality issues that led to its frequency being temporarily reduced to every 20 minutes as of March 2024, Thankfully, though, this was reversed back to every 15 minutes just under a year later when Trent Barton announced they would put out shiny, new(er) greener Enviro200 MMC buses as of February 2, 2025.
