This time i literary went into a hellhole. Join me on one of the most claustrophobic experiences of my life that took place in the monastery of Khor Virap (which itself literary translates as Bottommost Pit). But that was far from the only interesting spots in Armenia. We took a long roadtrip from Yerevan all the way to the south of the country, close to Iranian borders, crossing the high mountains and unforgiving mountain roads as we were going to the Tatev monastery - to me one of the most beautiful landmarks of Armenia.
