This time we're visiting Uxmal, which is close to Merida on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Previously I've visited Tikal, Caracol and Xunantunich in Guatemala and Belize, plus on this channel, Teotihuacan in Mexico. Many of these have different origins, but Uxmal is definately Mayan. Many tourists only visit Chichen Itza. In my opinion, Uxmal is significantly more impressive as it's more accessible, larger and you can climb the Great Pyramid to access amazing views across the area!
