But now a new museum dedicated to erotica is causing a frosty reception among some quarters. STORYLINE: Dangling from the ceiling, this mannequin is one of sexy exhibits raising more than eyebrows at this museum. Its founders say it is the largest museum of its kind in the world - and a first in Russia. There's 900 square metres (9687 square feet) of feather-tickling chairs, chastity belts and bondage gear. Its founder, Maxim Lapin, had the idea to create the museum six years ago. The museum is perhaps a reflection of Russia's changing attitudes to sex. The once-repressed Soviet Union is embracing more liberal attitudes to sex, and erotica. The museum was established with the help of private donors. Lapin says the erotica in the museum is best enjoyed with a large dose of humour.
