It is from this historic village that the Holi procession begins, carrying forward a tradition preserved for centuries. The wooden temple at the heart of the village reflects exquisite Himalayan craftsmanship and represents a rare harmony of Hindu and Buddhist beliefs, where spirituality is not divided but lived as a way of life. As the day unfolds, the valley comes alive with traditional Kinnauri music — dhol, nagara, brass horns, and local wind instruments — echoing through the mountains as an invitation to the divine. Villagers prepare sacred food offerings that are first presented to the deity and later shared among the entire community, symbolizing unity and devotion.
