In this video I discuss what a typical Computer Science degree will look like and what you can expect from one. I talk about the structure of a typical computer science degree, follow it up with discussing what high level CS options will be available to you, and end the video by discussing what sort of careers you can expect to enter with an undergraduate Computer Science degree. With the summary out of the way, I would like to give a bit of context for this video. Given that I recently graduated from University of Alberta's Computing Science program, I felt like right now was the right time to provide a bit of information to the younger generations about what they can expect heading into a CS program. While I have made a video talking about my path through the degree before, I realized that providing some perspective on what a degree will look like in general has a lot of value for people looking into this. Additionally, this video is also good for people in High School trying to do a bit of research into university programs that they might want to take.
