Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this 40 and 50 amp wiring kit for the Redarc BC-DC battery charger for batteries that are across the engine bay. Now, this wiring kit here let you wire up a Redarc BC-DC battery charger to the batteries that are in your vehicle. This will work with either the 40 amp Redarc BC-DC battery charger, part number 331-BCDC1240D, or will also work with the 50 amp charger, part number 331-BCDC1250D. Both of those battery chargers we do sell separately on our website. Now, this kit here is designed to work with your start and auxiliary batteries that are on opposite sides of the engine bay. And just to show you what we're talking about, I'm gonna pop up an insert and you can see the picture of the engine bay there, and you can see how the batteries are on opposite sides. Basically, the batteries must be more than two feet apart, but less than 11 feet apart. Now, this kit here includes the pre-crimped and cut the length cables, fuses, fuse holders, and connectors. Eeven has a nice instruction manual that'll describe how this all goes together. Now, as we mentioned, this kit here is for the 40 or 50 amp applications. We do also sell the same kit that's available if you have a 25 amp application for the same batteries that are across the engine bay. That part number is RED65RR.
