Elaine de Kooning, Lee Krasner, Grace Hartigan and numerous other women artists produced explosive works of Abstract Expressionism in the renegade New York art scene of the early 1950s and 1960s. During this home-gallery visit, collector Christian Levett shares highlights from his 100-piece Florentine collection, formed almost exclusively of art by women. The Levett Collection comprises works by the likes of Perle Fine, Yvonne Thomas, Elaine de Kooning and Pat Passlof, among others. 'I didn't have talent, I just had genius,' Hartigan once quipped.
