The official tagline for the drink was “Defy Gravity” but most people call it “The drink with balls”…and rightfully so. Orbitz was described as a texturally enhanced drink as it contained tiny gel orbs inside its non carbonated fruit flavored water. It was developed and produced from 1994-1995 and by 1996 it was pushed into grocery stores and convenient store shelves everywhere in the United States and Canada. It was a massive failure as it had almost the same fate as Crystal Pepsi did a few years prior.
