A review after 6 months use of the latest Stradic, the FL. This reel has not missed a beat, for its price it’s unbeatable. The 5000 model comes with a ball handle, being the XG it has a gear ratio of 6.2:1. Unfortunately there isn’t an aftermarket screw in stand available for this model. By positioning the pinion gear close to the centre line of the large diameter drive gear, more power is transferred from the handle to the rotor.
