Golden Years by David Bowie & Elvis Presley (posthumous)

This was painstakingly created by a total amateur on the most basic of equipment. Elvis' vocal is more like a backing vocal, and was created using more songs than I remember, but the main ones were: Golden Coins, True Love Travels On A Gravel Road (the word "years"), Angel (the word "angel") I Beg Of You (the phrase "don't break my heart") Edge of Reality and City By Night (I used the word "shadows" from both songs) Run On, I Gotta Know, Baby Let's Play House......and others, usually for just a single word. The history is that David Bowie allegedly wrote this song for Elvis to sing. Of course Col Parker didn't let Elvis really record whatever he wanted... But I have no idea if Elvis ever even heard the song, and I do not think the song is fully Elvis' style--but I can hear what Bowie could hear when he was thinking of Elvis singing it. This is so very amateur, but I still like it and think it mostly came out pretty well, and gives a very good idea of what Elvis and Bowie really would have sounded like together (NO IMPERSONATORS HERE!)
