In this run we use Guardian and try to use blocking/deflecting a portion of damage only at all enemies and bosses. Birb blocking! 0:00 Day 1 9:53 Grab a passive increased damage while two handing weapon. Apparently if you hold the shield two handed it increases the damage of your blocks/deflections, this works with most weapons, but I was surprised it enhances blocking damage. 14:05 Day 1 Boss (Centipede Demon) He is not to bad although some his jumps and attacks can get around you if you don't block from perfect angles. When his body parts split off I sometimes try to keep them closely to damage them both. 36:40 Centipeda goes down, took me about 23 minutes to take him down. 37:25 Day 2 42:10 Try gather a bunch of frenzy commoners together so that my block's hit multiple enemies at once. 51:30 Day 2 Boss (Nox Dragonkin soldier) 53:35 So the boss kills one of the mimic's and the mimic's explodes dealing about 800 damage to the boss. Had no idea this was possible, not sure if I'd count this against the rules, since this is a case of enemies dealing damage to other enemies. 57:20 (Phase 2) So this boss can cause frost damage, and even with 3 relic's with improved affinity negation (about 34% defense against fire, lightning, magic, and holy) it does not negate frost buildup (You'd actually need frost resistance up. or all resistances up to slow down the buildup. So eventually I had resort blocking only attacks that I knew would damage him, and back off against his hit's that wouldn't reach him (You have to be close to his main body for the deflects to work, if you are to far away it won't damage him will also continue to build up frost. You basically cannot block every single attack otherwise you will build up frost way quicker and lose. He may have been the hardest boss this entire run. 1:08:50 Dragonskin manages to down me, thought my block would save me but if you aren't in the perfect spot, he can get around your shield and hit you for full damage. Wonky hit boxes. 1:17:50 Dragonkin gets blocked forever. Fight took me about 26 minutes. 1:18:25 Double boss (Fell Omen/Morgott) Guardian and his block/deflect seems to be a perfect counter to a lot of Morgott's attacks. Morgott attacks a lot and has a lot of combos. But for Guardian this makes it easier for me to damage at a much quicker rate. He does do holy damage and bleed damage, but the affinity damage negation combined with continuous HP regen and blocks restore health seem to balance out those types of damage. 1:20:52 Blocked every hit of his super long combo for a whooping 760 damage. 1:23:30 Blocked every dagger he threw when he does his long knife throwing combo. Totaled 650 damage. 1:24:00 Defeat him by blocking his knife throwing combo. Too me about 6 minutes to beat him. Massive improvement compared to the other bosses. 1:25:40 Nightlord Boss (Fulghor/Darkdrift knight) He does physical and holy damage. He actually has quite a lot of opportunities to block his attacks. Sometimes you may have to block going slightly backwards rather then trying to hug his body (otherwise some of his move get around shield) 1:26:30 I manage to block his most of his holy spears, but he did manage to damage me somewhat. From this point instead of blocking them, I decide to play it safe and dodge and evade the holy spears instead of trying to block them. 1:29:55 I used my ultimate as a way to heal my hit points, however I accidently clipped fulghor dealing 447 damage. I was pissed and almost stopped there, this was the one boss I didn't want to make a mistake on. So that is why I call this a near perfect run, since I messed up legit one time the whole entire run. I decided to continue on, and instead wanted to see if I could still beat him, and also I would see how much supplies I had at the end. 1:34:40 Phase 2, his goop arm is a bit harder to deal with since he has a wider range to get around your shield. 1:53:54 Decide to get bold, and ty to block his holy spears right in front of him. 1:54:42 Fulghor gets defeated. Took about 30 minutes to defeat him. So at the end I had one flask remaining, had my ultimate ready to heal, and two wending graces. I feel that I would have won this match even if I didn't hit him with my ultimate. My blocks do around 79 to 92 damage so to make up for the 447 damage I did to balance it out I would have just had to block him an extra 5-7 times. Unfortunately still broke the rules. I will say this, if another person wants to attempt this, and manages to block 100% I will give him the full credit and even say his feat was greater then mine, they can take the win if they want try it out.
