This episode is very unique as it was one of the few originally broadcasted for the men and women overseas fighting during World War II. Incidentally, this came with the effect removing all of the advertising which has been cut and replaced with supplementary songs in lieu of those. That of course being the usual Old Gold introduction, nor any form of midroll advertisements. Also wanted to note this was Fred's second appearance on Frank's radio program and the first time was on March 14, 1945 (Max Factor Hollywood). Also unique to this program was Frank's first debut performance to "It's Been A Long, Long Time" (A wartime favorite of GIs). I will also note, towards the end of the show, Frank changes a few lyrics to a song he was well known and associated with. 0:01 "Night and Day" (Show Opening) - FS 0:24 Show Introduction - KR 0:28 Show Opening Speech - FS 0:41 "It's Only A Paper Moon" - FS 2:19 Dialogue - FS 2:55 "Don't Forget Tonight, Tomorrow" - FS & PP 5:19 Thanking of the Pied Pipers - FS 5:21 "So in Love" - PP 7:39 "Bess, Where's My Bess?" - FS 10:29 Dialogue - FS 10:42 "Eleven Sixty P.M."
