Here is a station id promo montage from WJTC, an independent turned UPN turned independent station serving Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL. All copyrights of Mercury, Clear Channel, Newport, and Deerfield/Sinclair acknowledged. WJTC signed on as Mobile's second independent station in 1984 (after WPMI) and has largely retained independence aside from serving as the area's UPN affiliate during that station's entire existence. WJTC's main sister station is WPMI and it airs some news programming from WPMI. Unlike in most markets, although Sinclair operates NBC affiliate WPMI and ABC affiliate WEAR, the station stations mostly maintain separate news operations with WPMI largely covering the Alabama side of the market while WEAR covers the Florida side with WJTC serving as WPMI's sister and WFGX serving as WEAR's sister. The earliest ids are from the UPN 44 era and more recent ones are from the UTV 44 era, which has largely maintained a similar on air look for the past decade and change.
