Is Black culture self-destructive… or self-expressive? That question gets whispered a lot. Rarely examined. In this video, I break down the difference between culture and caricature. Between expression and exploitation. Between trauma and algorithms. We look at: • Why every culture expresses rebellion, exaggeration, and pain • How capitalism amplifies extremes • Who benefits when the most controversial versions of a culture are pushed forward • Why visibility is not the same as values • And what happens when a people denied ownership enter a system where attention equals currency I’ve lived in and out of the U.S. for years. I’ve watched Black culture travel across Europe, South America, and Asia. People imitate what they admire. So what are we really looking at when we call something “the problem”? Culture reflects what we normalize. What we rehearse becomes identity. What we celebrate becomes legacy. So the real question is not whether Black culture is broken. The real question is: what are we choosing to amplify? Let’s talk.
