►The individual throttle bodies fitted to the E92 M3's S65 engine make an unbelievable noise and provide instant throttle response. However, while performance is tough to improve, owners can pump up the noise without much fuss. Replacing the stock plastic intake plenum and airbox with aftermarket components will free up a few ponies and enhance the shrieking intake noise for the 8000RPM+ V8. Of all the aftermarket kits out there, few look and sound as good as the carbon fiber intake and plenum from Eventuri. Their complete carbon construction sheds a little bit of weight and enhances the intake sound, tonally and in volume. Other aftermarket components should have similar installation processes but slightly different sounds and appearances.
