Day 10 | A Much-Needed Relax Day at Discovery Cove 🐬🌴 Day 10 was all about slowing down and enjoying a chilled day at Discovery Cove. We arrived nice and early, grabbed breakfast, and managed to secure Hannah a great dolphin swim slot. Plates were stacked high and we were soon full—breakfast wasn’t amazing, but it did the job! We kicked things off in the bird aviary while the birds were still hungry, which meant plenty of close-up interactions. After that, it was time to float around the lazy river, always a favourite. Toby decided to stay put, so I headed off solo to check out the monkeys and otters, followed by a long swim through the coral reef. On the way back, I may have discovered the bar… and with beer included, it would’ve been rude not to 🍺 Toby was still living his best life in the water, while Hannah was ready for a well-earned cup of tea. Next up was the highlight of the day—Hannah’s dolphin swim 🐬 A 30-minute experience with photos, a ride, and some incredible up-close moments with the dolphins. After that, it was Toby’s turn to experience the coral reef, perfectly timed with ray feeding, which he absolutely loved. As the afternoon rolled in, the rain wasn’t far behind—so it was time for LUNCH. This was miles better than breakfast and we enjoyed every bit. We squeezed in another 30 minutes in the pool before the heavens opened, wrapping up our day around 3:30pm.
