Beef nihari is specially made from beef legs and beef shanks. This is the most delicious food for meat lovers and bone marrow lovers, furthermore, also one of the most popular breakfast in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. Best beef Nihari gives you Mughals' breakfast feeling. If you try this recipe you will be able to make it from a scratch. This dish is so tender, juicy and aromatic. You might be thinking why I am sharing this slow-cooked nihari recipe. It's because 'Eid' is coming and Beef nihari is the most popular and most common dish at every home in Eid festival. It’s not too difficult to prepare this dish at home. Here I show you some very easy steps on how to make nihari without a pressure cooker and you can also learn how to make nihari thick without flour? Read the description to last and follow the tips: ▼▼▼Recipe below▼▼▼ Ingredients for Beef Nihari: ► Nihari 20 Pieces or 3kg ► Sliced Onion 4 Cup ► Garlic paste 4 Tbspoon ► Zinger paste 5 Tbspoon ► Salt to taste 2 Tbspoon ► Red chili Powder 3 Tbspoon ► Turmeric powder 1 & ½ Tbspoon ► Coriander Powder 1 TbSpoon ► Cumin powder 1 Tbspoon ► Garam Masala 1 Teaspoon ► Black Cardamom 2 Pieces ► Bay Leaf 4 Pieces ► Cinnamon sticks 4 Pieces ► Cardamom 6 Pieces ► Cloves 4 Pieces ► Black pepper 10 Pieces ► Cooking Oil 1 Cup ► Tamarind 25 gm ► Chop Parsley Ingredients for tempering: Nothing much, just 1/3 cup cooking oil & 1/3 cup sliced onion. Cooking instructions: In a nonstick saucepan (I used 30cm), put all beef nihari and put all ingredients one by one without Tamarind and Chop Cilantro. After that, add water 3-4 L until the nihari sinks. Now, Let it shimmer for 30 minutes on high heat with covered. Then in mid low flame, cook it for 2 hours. (If needed, add water and cook until soften & thicken gravy) In last 30 minutes, cook it in very low flame. Total cooking time would be 3 hours approximately. When nihari is melt down then add Tamarind and Chop Parsley. Done! Prepare tempering: Heat a fry-pan then put 1/3 cup cooking oil & 1/3 cup sliced onion. Stir-fry constantly until it turns golden brown color. Then put it on top of Nihari and cover for 15 minutes. Finally, garnish with sliced ginger and parsley.
