I sewed two garments that are going to see a lot of wear - The Friday Pattern Company Saturday Skirt and The Friday Pattern Company Patina Blouse. There is a reason why I am a ‪@FridayPatternCompany‬ Super Fan. I love the aesthetic and I do not have to do too many adjustments to the pattern to get something that I love. The instructions are clear, they have brief overview instructions (which is what I usually use), hold your hand instructions with clear easy to understand diagrams, and a sew along for all their patterns. I sewed a T Shirt for myself that I am just meh about. The union St Tee by Hey June Handmade. They specifically recommend against using Cotton Lycra Jersey. I used it anyway and I think I will stick to their recommendations in future. I could also use a full bust adjustment. Charlie's Kai Tee was a lot more successful. Both of these T shirts were sewn with fabric that was gifted to me by ‪@MinervaDotCom‬ as part of the #minervabrandambassador program. My opinions are my own and I love that cotton lycra stretch jersey. It is a Core Range fabric meaning they will keep it in stock. I sewed the T shirts using the Cider colorway and think it looks so handsome on Charlie.
