KIngs Dominion is a park with a history dating back 50 years. While it hosts a large collection of roller coasters and rides, the park has seen many lost to time. From innovative launches, to forgotten flumes, journey though the past to uncover the story of these once iconic attractions. Delve into the hidden depths of The Lost World as we explore Smurf Mountain and Haunted River, before you discover the future of the mountain with Volcano: The Blast Coaster. The compressed air launch of Hypersonic XLC once sat side by side with Wayne’s World themed Hurler. Close by Old Dominion Line took visitors on a journey through the Virginia forest. Early coasters Galaxie and King Kobra gave way to more modern thrills, but their impact on the park is still remembered.
