We’re rolling early today from the TA in Ash Fork, Arizona, running east with a load of energy drinks that was picked up yesterday (2/12/26) in Las Vegas. The destination is Waco, Texas, with delivery scheduled for 2/16/26 at 5:00 PM. Today’s chapter is about pure mileage and positioning. The plan is to stay on I-40 through northern Arizona and across New Mexico, pushing as far as we can and shutting down somewhere near the Texas / New Mexico state line. This is one of those classic long-haul days where the scenery keeps changing but the mission stays the same: stack safe miles and set up the next day. Along the way, this run typically takes us through (or near) well-known I-40 points like: • Flagstaff area (high country) • Winslow / Holbrook (Route 66 territory) • Gallup, New Mexico • Albuquerque corridor • Tucumcari / Santa Rosa area • Pushing toward the Texas line if the day goes our way Later in the trip, we’ll transition off I-40 to US-287, then work our way down through the Fort Worth area via I-35W and continue on I-35 toward Waco. Route for this trip: US-93 → I-40 → US-287 → I-35W → I-35 Equipment: • Truck: 2021 Freightliner Cascadia • Trailer: 2018 Great Dane Dry Van (white) Today’s Plan: • Start: TA in Ash Fork, AZ • Run I-40 east across AZ and NM • Shut down near the TX/NM state line Ride along, hang out in the chat, and enjoy a classic Southwest-to-Texas long-haul day. #FreightRelocators #LiveTrucking #TruckDriverLife #EnergyDrinkLoad #I40 #ArizonaTrucking #NewMexicoTrucking #TexasBound #DryVan #TruckingVlog
