Ford 6.7 diesel Forced engine idle reset clear Choose the egt 13 PID, the redundant line pressure PID and the injection cycle PID. Start engine and rev between 1500 and 2000 rpm. When the egt temperature reaches 90 idle the engine and when the line pressure goes up to 495 shift into D and start driving the truck. After about 2 to 5 minutes of driving you should complete the injection cycle. It will turn to around 99 percent and then set back to zero. That’s when the cycle is complete. Put into park and rev the engine between 2000 and 2500 rpm. Keep at it but keep between those values - takes about 5 minutes and once the value reaches about 2200 the forced idle will reset and you can drive the truck normally
