Out of this world Lake Pukaki & Tekapo | Mackenzie Region, South Island, NZ

The Mackenzie Region is perhaps one of the most breath taking areas in New Zealand. It's famous for their surreal vividly turquoise lakes, dazzling starry night skies and it's also home to Mt Cook - New Zealand's tallest mountain. In this vlog we drove from Timaru to Twizel but unfortunately the weather wasn't great at Lake Tekapo when we were passing through for some lunch first at Kohan (Japanese) Restaurant. Kohan Restaurant Address: 6 Rapuwai Lane, Lake Tekapo 7945 Fortunately though, the rain cleared up by the time we reached our very unique SKYLAB Airbnb accommodation located at Pukaki, Twizel Airport. It was a great location since it's close to beautiful Lake Pukaki but also kind of in between Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook (which was the next part of our trip). An awesome little "space capsule". It actually looks surreal.
