He is also a prolific columnist & his articles reflect his unique understanding of geo-politics, strategic affairs, International relations. Swapan Dasgupta is a former MP in the Rajya Sabha, a Padma Bhushan laureate, an illustrated journalist and political commentator. he has held senior editorial posts at The Statesman, The Daily Telegraph, The Times of India, The Indian Express and India Today and has published his works in The Pioneer, The Telegraph, Dainik Jagran, The Times of India, The New Indian Express, Outlook, The Free Press Journal and several other newspapers and magazines.
