Great Barrier Reef | A Quiet Scuba Experience (4K)

This film was shot on the Great Barrier Reef during a three-day liveaboard with Pro Dive Cairns in October 2023. It was my first time diving the reef. During the trip, I completed my Open Water Diver certification and continued on to earn my Adventure Diver rating. The footage here comes from some of my later dives, once I had settled into the pace and feeling of being underwater. Dives took place across Flynn Reef and Milln Reef, at depths ranging between 8 and 26 meters. Conditions varied from site to site, but the experience of moving slowly through the reef, with changing light, fish, and terrain remained constant. Each reef revealed its unique character and sense of space. There is no narration in this video. It’s meant to be enjoyed slowly, with sound on.
