Watch my next review about Millenium Dance Complex + Kinjaz Dojo + Snowglobe Perspective! (I did not like MDC that much lmfao): • Видео 0:30 The Lab 1:58 Playground LA 3:39 TMILLYTV 5:20 Conclusion and America vs. Korea Links Follow: / jisoomun Support: / monstamun Check out: https://www.monstamun.com/ Summary: After being depressed for two months about not being in Korea, I decided to get off my butt and experiment with dance studios here. Los Angeles is the center of entertainment and performing arts in the US. It makes sense that they have some of the best dance studios in the nation and the world. I'll be reviewing TMILLYTV, The Lab, Playground LA Millenium Dance Complex, Kinjaz Dojo, Snowglobe and possibly more. In this video I reviewed the first three mentioned. My criteria are based on Location, Price, Time, Choreographer Selection, and Media/Overall Clout. The Lab This is the first studio I ever went to, because I've seen their super hype high school gym performances that went viral. I also wanted to go because I ran into Andrew Venegas' account and became a huge fan. I've taken 2 Advanced Hip Hop with Venegas and Elam, 1 Intermediate class with David Lee?, and 1 Master Class with Sienna Lalau I immediately felt an intimate class vibe and felt like a part of a community (even though I don't know anyone lol). There are less people in the class which I really enjoyed and the choreographers are very supportive. My only complaint is that they don't really have opportunities for media exposure via YouTube, but I think that's because they invest those resources on their training teams. If they filmed classes, I might have just gone to The Lab every time. Playground LA I've taken one class with Bailey Sok and one with Julian Deguzman. Playground is so special. It is in my favorite location in Los Angeles, and it's also just a beautiful experience. Maybe I'm partial to my first experience there, which was with the amazing Bailey Sok. I had a great time and was thoroughly challenged/almost dying in both the classes I took. Playground has access to choreographers that are renowned at an international level while offering a cheaper price than MDC (only $1 cheaper but they have better 1 month packages than MDC). TMILLYTV Everything that TMILLY offers I believe is superior to the others. Amazing studio space. 2 hour classes for $18. Amazing videos with huge attention to detail. Water. LOL. The only limitation is the selection of choreographers. They also have visiting world-renowned choreographers but classes per week are very limited, so you might not have a reason to go every week, if you get my drift. In general, classes here are based on genre/style, not choreographer. At 1MILLION, you come into classes not necessarily knowing what style the choreographer is going for, because you are going for the choreographer. Here, it's "Hip Hop" or "Jazz Funk" "Pumpfidence" etc. Classes are a lot more affordable. There are a LOT more talented people. I could go on forever with the differences (comment if you want a Korea vs America Dance Studio video lol)
