Feria de Málaga 2025 begins on the 16th of August until the 23th. The story goes back to August 19, 1487, almost more than six centuries, when the Catholic Monarchs took this city and made it part of the Crown of Castile. Since then, the old City Council approved the organization and celebration of the taking of the city, annually on August 15. Being their first meeting in 1941, later the days of celebration of this fair were extended. The booths of the fairgrounds are about the establishments, traditional patios and Brotherhood Houses that participate in the Feria de Málaga as merchants, either selling products or services. During the month of April, the request by merchants to be present at the fair began. At the Málaga Fair you can visit all the booths and walk the streets with total freedom, because this organization is open to everyone, unlike the Seville Fairs. During the week of celebration, more than 1 million people of Spanish nationality and also foreigners are received. The Feria de Málaga has the particularity of being held in two places, if you want to enjoy the fair during the day you should go to the center of the city, everything starts in Calle Larios, there you will find the entrance gate to the festival and all the years is decorated with beautiful flowers and lighting. As you walk you will notice people with typical flamenco costumes, singers, places to eat, drink or buy handicrafts. If you are looking to enjoy night activities to the fullest, your best option will be to go to Cortijo de Torres. Previously, only night events of the fair were organized here, but now you will also find activities during the day. However, at Cortijo de Torres at night you will find a wide variety of booths with live music, bars, others with Málaga and Spanish cuisine, cocktail sales, among others. The Royal Cortijo de Torres Fair Since the fair starts, the Real de la Feria is preparing to receive thousands of people from Málaga and visitors. At nightfall on the first Saturday of the festivities, the cover is lit, which illuminates the Real de la Feria in Málaga every night. Streets, booths and children's attractions open their doors to a public that intensely lives its fair both at night and during the day. During the day, one of the most outstanding activities to enjoy at the Real is the horse and hitch ride, one of the most striking of the fair due to its color and its traditional character. Another of the highlights is the election of the Queen and the Mister of the Fair, with a parade where it is possible to admire the flamenco dresses that the participants wear for the occasion.
