Viofo A229 Pro OTA (Over The Air) firmware Update.

This test has been done on the same firmware as the previous test. There is a later version of the firmware which I will try but wanted to just confirm that the current version won't work. Note this is also the latest Viofo app from the Apple app store. Viofo had the ability to update their dashcam using Over The Air capability but this stopped working around the release of the A129 Duo/T130. While it does seem to work at least it downloads the file and attempts to upgrade the A229 Pro. As the A229 Pro 3 Channel is a very new product from Viofo it still gets Firmware updates. The difference for the novice amongst us to update the firmware on your dashcam required using a computer to download from the official Viofo web site and placing the file onto a newly formatted TF card. As you can see from the video OTA firmware update is so much easier and less of a headache!
