In April of 2013, Steve’s friend Kauri and her family discovered Moonlight Bridge in the Grapevine Mountains. A couple weeks later, on April 18, 2013, Steve hiked out to see it for himself for the first time. Moonlight Bridge was the 12th major natural bridge to be discovered in Death Valley and it holds the distinction of being the tallest one at an estimated 60 feet in height. In December of 2024, Steve returns to Moonlight Bridge for the first time in 11 years and brings along his family and friends Gia and Andrew. The next day, he takes viewers across the valley to see Scorpion Bridge as an added bonus. The mouth of Moonlight Bridge Canyon is located at 36.911749, -117.234726.
