Hut to hut touring in the Alps, by Angus Armstrong

Angus Armstrong has been hut to hut touring intermittently since 2007, and shares his journey from novice to not so novice. The ups and downs, the highs and lows and why? Some five years ago he started on the "Potential tour leader" training with the club and organised his first tour for 2020, and eventually ran it in 2022. He shares the planning and the reality - how did it go, what were the huts like - with a photo tour through this lesser known route from from Val Ferret to Val d'Entremont. This should of interest to anyone contemplating their first hut to hut tour, or who are ready to embark on the tour leader training with an eye to leading a hut to hut tour for the club.
