2015-2020 WRX TGV & EGR Delete This is the Kit we used. https://prlmotorsports.com/fa20dittgv... Warning: This Install may affect your vehicle’s emissions. Please do your own research before attempting this install. This video is simply documenting our experience. Music: Greedy by Patrick Patrikios Today on BP Builds, we install a TGV and EGR delete to a 2018 WRX. First remove engine cover and intercooler Move misc. hoses and wires out of the way Remove intake manifold bolts. These bolts go all way though the TGV blocks so they are in very tight. It actually feels like they are going to break while removing them. Unplug all the wires you can get to. We need to be able to lift up the intake manifold and get to the TGV blocks and EGR valve under it. Unbolt the EGR line from the back of the intake. Remove hoses and wires from the two solenoids under the passenger side of the intake. Move intake as far out of the way as you can. I chose to leave the coolant lines attached to the throttle body because I didn't want to lose more coolant than I had to. Unplug the TGV's and remove. You should now be able to see the EGR valve. Clamp the coolant lines connected to the valve and then remove them quickly, so you don't lose much coolant, put the bypass piece in. Remove the EGR valve assembly. Place the TGV delete blocks in their final resting place. You cannot access the bolts holding the EGR supply heat-exchanger to the block from the engine bay, so that must be done from underneath. The lift made this very easy. Clamp the coolant supply hoses and quickly install the bypass. Unbolt the heat-exchanger and throw it in the trash. Install the block off plate over the hole in the back of the head. -Lube up Intake Manifold Gaskets. -reinstall intake manifold and everything else. Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
