The purpose of this video is to support early childhood development in our own language Tigrinya. Because, kids born in diaspora do not have enough materials to know enough words as they grow. Even we as adults, how many of us do we know the fruits? Does it matter knowing their names? It really matters because children's cognitive development is closely linked to the number of words they hear every single day. The gaps that appear by the age of 3 between children growing up learning and those who don't are nearly impossible to close later on. So, in this video you will be able to learn names of fruits in Tigrinya and English. In Tigrinya: you will hear the names in audio and see names in text at the same time. In English: you will be able to see names in text form that will help you describe different fruit names. Adults: From this video, you can learn the fruits vocabulary in either English or Tigrinya depending on your needs.
