The Grip Force Adapter is a relatively new product that offers a number of benefits to the Glock shooter. Obviously, it provides a 'beavertail' to eliminate slide bite. However, the beavertail also serves as a fulcrum to minimize muzzle lift and as a larger, more consistent index for establishing grip at speed. Additionally, the body of the GFA provides a slight change to the grip angle and the enhanced texture increases friction, thereby allowing more consistent hand positioning. It was designed by a very highly skilled shooter in Ohio and has been endorsed by such luminaries as Bill Rogers, Ken Hackathorn and Dave Harrington.
