Festival of Remembrance 2020 New Gate Arts & Culture Centre teamed up with the Royal British Legion Waterside Branch in order to provide a week-long Festival of Remembrance. This online festival aimed to commemorate all those who have and continue to serve in our armed forces, promote the work of the Royal British Legion and other agencies providing support to veterans and to help raise money for The Poppy Appeal. This online festival was in response to Covid-19 restrictions. This video looks back at Kintra's performance at the 2010 Royal British Legion concert in the Waterside Theatre New Gate Arts & Culture Centre We are vibrant arts and culture centre, where everyone can experience the unique cultural heritage of our community. New Gate Arts & Culture Centre is located in The Fountain area of Londonderry; close to the historic walls and the city centre. It is easily accessible and close to all major transport links. We provide a range of workshops, classes, performances, talks, tours, festivals and cultural events. As well as facilitated discussions, good relations workshops and peace building initiatives.
