SEE YOU "See You. Artist Images" is a photo collection and a subjective trip through decades of music history. The author has conducted more than 400 interviews as a journalist for various music magazines, with artists of all genres – and took by occasion many portraits. In "See You. Artist Images" you will meet many great musicians, maybe even some of your idols: Blues legends like Albert Collins and B.B. King, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Brian May of Queen, Carlos Santana, Joanna Connor, Eddie Van Halen, Cream bassist Jack Bruce, Genesis' guitarist Steve Hackett, Jazz icons like Allan Holdsworth, James Blood Ulmer, John Scofield, Mick Goodrick, Pat Martino and George Benson, Jennifer Batten, Hole & Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf der Maur, the legendary Cool Jazz saxophonist Lee Konitz, Lemmy Kilmister from Motörhead, Steve Lukather and Michael Landau, Robbie Robertson from The Band, King Crimson's Robert Fripp, Ella Zirina, Athina Kontou, Uli Jon Roth, Zakk Wylde, Mary Halvorson, Robin Trower, Rory Gallagher, Jeff Beck ... More than 250 photos of Blues, Jazz, Rock, Alternative and also some Avantgarde artists – all creative people from the last 35 years. Including an appendix with detailed photo credits. THE AUTHOR Lothar Trampert, born 1961 in Trier, Germany, loves Rock, Jazz, Funk, Classical music, Blues, R&B, as well as electric guitars, good weather, cycling, cats & photography. Obviously also subway trains at night and strange cameras. He studied musicology and art history, worked as a freelance journalist and author, was music editor of a musician's magazine for more than 30 years, and has conducted many interviews with artists of all genres. His most recent publications were the autofictional story “Popsog”, published in 2024 under the pseudonym Jan Urbanek, and "Jimi Hendrix. Musician Popstar Icon" from 2025, an almanach about the man, the musician, his instruments, inspirations and influences. More about that on www.jimihendrixbuch.de
