Michael Bloomstein has saved all his money to do a script read of his film with actor Richard Kind ("Curb Your Enthusiasm," "A Serious Man"). Richard soon finds out he got more than he bargained for... THE STORY: Michael Bloomstein wants to sell the script of his life story to a major movie studio. The only problem is that he’s never been to Hollywood ... his life is uneventful ... and he has no connections or money. What he does have is an unyielding self-belief, and a willingness to do anything to succeed. As he chases his dream of becoming famous, Michael will see the highs and lows of the movie industry – and question if he really has what it takes to make it in Hollywood. In the tradition of "Da Ali G Show," and "Nathan For You," Bloomywood uses sketch and mockumentary formats to explore the absurd realities of daily life in Hollywood.
