The Service Excellence Awards (SEA) is an annual event hosted by the Western Cape Government (WCG) to recognise and celebrate exceptional service delivery. The primary aim of the awards is to reinforce the WCG value of caring by acknowledging employees who demonstrate excellence in their work. This year marks the 10th Annual Service Excellence Awards, taking place on Friday, 12 September 2025 at The Market Hall, Grand West, Cape Town. In addition to honouring outstanding public servants, the 2025 awards will further expand the WCG recognition system to include residents and provincial municipalities, promoting a broader culture of service excellence across the province.
