The Marriage of Figaro (contralto edition) recitative, Barbarina cos'hai?

This is an amateur contralto performance of the Act 4 recitative "Barbarina cos'hai?" from Le Nozze di Figaro/The Marriage of Figaro, part of my project to sing all the non-soprano songs from the opera by myself. This recitative occurs near the start of Act 4, after Barbarina's aria and before Marcellina's aria, and sets in motion the central conflict of the opera's final act. This stupid idea has worked strangely well and hasn't required more than minimal changes to the libretto (mainly replacing "paggio" with "ragazzo" lol.) My English language version of the project doesn't have any of this funny business and I so badly injured my voice performing as Cherubino here    • (EN) The Marriage of Figaro contralto edit...   that I couldn't speak for ten days which has only made me feel even more vindicated in my decision to omit the little jerk from my Italian version. "parta parta il damerino" is an entirely reasonable precaution for protecting one's vocal health.
