This shot, captured casually one day in Sabine's garden, became the iconic opening to "Crystal Waters - 30 Years On" - https://bit.ly/cwdoco01 Wiruungga Dunggiirr is an Elder from the Namba Gumbaynggar Nation in New South Wales, Nambuka heads, Australia. Together with his partner Garra they are working to Build Bridges between people, cultures, religions through spreading knowledge, wisdom and consciousness all over the world. Please donate in support uncle Wiruungga's mission to help remote aboriginal communities and to share his knowledge and dreaming with the world. ::: https://chuffed.org/project/bushuni At home in Australia Uncle Wiruungga’s passion and purpose has been to support ALL Australians to thrive by preserving and reviving traditional knowledges. He visits remote and desert communities, delivering clothes, sharing bush medicine and growing gardens as a means to find healthy equilibrium between First Nations people and the wider Australian community. "My culture was given to me by my Mother, Father, Grandfather Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Uncles and Aunties. When I was five years old sitting in a circle on the mission my four Grandfathers would sit in circle with twenty one children telling the stories of the creation of Mother Earth and the Dreamtime stories." After connecting and weaving songlines throughout many countries across the world Uncle Wiruungga is on a mission to create a 'Bush University' at his home on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. The Bush University is a place to preserve and protect native food and medicine plants and traditional wisdom. A place where people can visit, share and learn. A place for Men's business. Women's business. Ceremony. Children and families. A place where all are welcome. Throughout the many years of journeys to the desert Wiruungga's Rainbow bus has taken him and many others across country and provided him with a home while travelling. Sadly time is coming to an end for this bus and Wiruungga needs a new 4 wheel drive bus to continue his journeys. A new bus is needed to transport clothing, food and other needed supplies to remote aboriginal communities. Our aim is to share Aboriginal wisdom to all who are interested to learn traditional and emerging cultures, including principles of living in harmony with the Earth and sustainable living. Our Projects also assists remote communities in sustaining natural food and medicines for their own environment thereby extending the quality of life through nutrition and healthy education. Please donate if you can. All donations will go towards setting up the Bush University and providing Wiruungga with a new bus. We invite you to join us in Australia too, to come along on a Dreamtime Walkabout and experience the real spirit of Australia. http://dreamtimewalkabout.com/about-w...
