SP_A_1006 This animation depicts an injection of anesthesia into the cervical facet area. It begins with the upper half of female figure with the vertebrae and skull visible, and zooms in on a lateral view of the cervical spine. A syringe with green fluid is shown. It is inserted in the posterior of the neck and anesthesia is injected around the facet joint. An axial cross-section MRI image of the area moves out of the neck and becomes the main image.
