The Story Behind SeaWorld Abu Dhabi SeaWorld Abu Dhabi was developed as a collaboration between Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading developer of immersive destinations, and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Unlike traditional SeaWorld parks, which featured orca shows, this park was designed as an advanced marine research and rescue center, emphasizing animal care and sustainability. The park is home to over 100,000 marine animals, including fish, sharks, rays, sea turtles, and marine mammals such as dolphins and sea lions. The habitats are designed with state-of-the-art technology to replicate natural oceanic environments, making it one of the most advanced marine life facilities in the world. One of the key attractions is the Endless Ocean exhibit, which is one of the world’s largest multi-species aquariums. The park also features interactive experiences, rides, and educational exhibits designed to promote awareness of marine conservation. In addition to entertainment, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi houses the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center, the first dedicated marine research, rescue, rehabilitation, and return facility in the UAE. The center aims to support marine biodiversity in the Arabian Gulf and beyond. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is part of Yas Island’s growing portfolio of attractions, including Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, and Yas Waterworld, making it a key destination for tourism in the UAE.
