Folks, in the final video to this mini series, I'll be cycling the "cold water" tank and finally adding fish! All of the fish were added a few weeks at a time so the beneficial bacteria colony could catch up with the increasing bioload. The "main attraction" of this tank is a fish I've wanted to keep for a long time, The Paradise Fish, a beautiful fish and one of the oldest fish in the aquarium hobby dating back to 1869. Winter is coming up, and I'm not yet using any cooling system for the tank, because this tank is always in the low 70's during the day and the high 60's at night. I'm simply going without a heater for now, and as winter turns to spring and to summer again, I'll monitor the temps to see if I need to add any cooling system. I hope this series was helpful to you in some way and that it perhaps gave you an idea or two for one of your next tank builds. Final fish stocking for this tank: 1 Paradise Fish (the main attraction) 5 False Julii Cory Cats 1 Siamese Algae Eater (we'll see how she does in the cooler water) 5 Otocinclus (may need to move them if they don't do well in cool water) 10 Golden White Cloud Mountain Minnows 4 Nerite Snails Thanks for watching! Keep tankin! Mike
