Searching for the Holy with Rev. Dr. Peter Luckey

What does it mean to open our hearts to that which is beyond us? Meditation, contemplation, stillness, deep breathing, physical movements of the body are all ways we talk about finding that Spirit that is within us and beyond us. Because there is not one way in the UU tradition to pray, people might be led to believe that Unitarians eschew prayer altogether. This is not the case Rev. Luckey’s sermon will be a celebration of the spiritual power given to all of us. What do we make of unanswered prayer? Can we still pray to a personal deity even if none exists?
